As a designer and a beer drinker, I have an implicit interest in the associated accessories that a nice cold beverage necessitates.
But why are wall-mounted bottle openers vintage styled, garage-like tools of poorly cast metal? Can’t we make a nice one?
This prototype is made of solid oak, with a polished brass centre cup, which prevents the wood absorbing any pesky beer foam, and comes complete with a hidden magnet in the centre to save you chasing the cap on the floor.
