Go Home are a Sydney base furniture and lifestyle brand, they were one of the first brands I worked for after graduating and some of our collaborations have been on the market for 15 years.
The Hollywood Chair was designed from the idea of melding two wood varieties, solid wood and plywood to create a unique, stack-able and extremely strong seating solution. The transition between plywood and solid wood is as seamless as possible and the chair’s shapely solid wood legs make it unusual to other stacking chairs on the market.
Made from FSC certified American Oak, the chairs bold lines disguise an underlying utilitarian practicality.
The chair’s name not only pays homage to the directors chair typology, a utilitarian object in the production of glitz and glamour, but also references the Hong Kong neighbourhood where the designer currently lives.
All Hollywood Chairs are produced to a commercial standard and include unique foot glides as well as under-seat stacking protectors.
